People touting their gold cape trim when they actually didn't earn it, but bought it.
Rank spammers.
High rank title elitists.
90% of PuGs.
People who play horrible builds, yet don't accept criticism.
Peddlers of said bad builds.
People who expect you to run said bad builds.
Traders who say offer and then don't say what they are looking for. You give them an offer and they say something along the lines of "lol noob".
Whammos. Or anything that overaggros.
1v1 noobs.
People taking charge when they obviously do not know what they are doing. This goes along with them not looking at the consequences.
People who think that Grind > Skill, or Time > Skill, which goes with the high rank title elitists.
Any district in RA. Or Marhans. Or Great Temple of Balthazar. Or Shing Jea.
Drunkard bots. Gold-spam bots. Party Animal bots.
Retarded scammers.
Teabaggers. It's like they can't be doing something else. Also goes with rank spammers.
People who use too many ! or ?.
People who use Q to shorten requirement instead of R.
People with Elite armors who proclaim that since they got the armor, they know everything about that profession. Goes with elite weapons.
Gold beggars.
People whining about needed nerfs.
AFKers and leechers.
People interjecting their own remarks in business that doesn't concern them.
People spamming stupid memes or encouraging users to visit sites with said stupid memes.
Naruto sins/Legolas Rangers/Leonidas Warriors etc.
People exuding an aura of superiority.
People talking about a subject they know nothing about, yet are somehow experts on that particular subject.
People who don't know how to manage a party invite list.
People drawing stupid crap on the mini-map.
Caps lock.
People who put a price range when selling then expect you to buy at the high end of the spectrum.
Lapdances, 10g each.
People who prolong matches when they have 0% chance of winning.
People spreading misinformation.
People not committing and leaving in the middle of an instance.

Seems like I posted in a thread like this before. Maybe I have, or maybe I am just a hateful person.

Hate is too much of a strong word to use in an online game, let's just say that i don't enjoy playing with:

- Drama queens
- Arrogant players
- Simply Stupid players
- Players that never ever EVER shut up

No, because they claim that it means they are skilled they claim also that those who haven't played long enough yet do not have skill.

So....running the same gimmick build over and over some how makes you skilled? You are skilled because you can push 2 when someone counts down from 3?

Leeching EXP while people kill stuff for you shows skill?
Farming for thousands of hours to buy alcohol shows skill?
Doing missions+bonus, reading from Wiki shows skill?

Titles alone don't prove skill, they prove grind.

If someone gets Legendary Vanquisher in a week, that shows skill.
If someone gets Legendary Vanquisher in a year, working on it every day, that shows grind.

Me: WTS 10k WHISP
"Buyer": Have you got ? -.-

Me: WTS WHISP (I sometimes forget / don't want to post prices)
Buyer: How much?
Me: 10k (example).
And then the buyer never answers...

I sometimes went with a guildie in AB with a double sin build, he was a modified SP sin and I was a Beguilling Haze sin, we killed basically all casters. Then some random guy pops us and starts saying stuff like: "Omg u n00bs!!!111" or "f*cking sins come h3re 1v1 i can pwn j00 so bad!!1!11!!11!". Or getting whispered (is this correct english?) after an AB by somebody saying: "omfg i could pwn j00 so bad in a 1v1". I then answer him: "I used a team build, you could easily pwn me without my teammate". Him: "omfg n00b, go get a life & a bettr buildz j00 n00b". Lol, just lol.

Mobbers in AB. You could give them free ectos and they would just keep mobbing and getting wtfpwned because the enemy team realized that splitting was more useful.

That's probably physically impossible getting it in a week. And it's a bad comparison in general, because it takes around the same overall time. Second person even has more of a life which grinders stereotypically dont.

What I learned from this thread:

Majority of the "hate" targets are people who have achieved more in the game than the poster did, whether it's a cape trim, high rank, high PvE title, or FoW armor.

thats not true.
You think IWAY takes skill?
No it doesnt yet people have decent ranks off it.
You think getting a max title takes skill? or even 10?

Protectors titles are easy theres 3 right there.
Cartographer is easy theres 3
Legendary Survivor is REALLY easy. HFFF ftw. 1
Skill hunter is easy. theres another 3.
So theres 10 right there all very easy.
Just takes time not skill.

LOL!

Seriously though, grinding NEVER means skill. Doing the same thing over and over and over again to get a max lvl in LB/SS/Norn/Asura/Vanguard/Dwarven/ Survivor/Faction is far from skill, it is called a grind because that's exactly what it is "a grind".

Title grinding FTL.

I have stayed away from this thread so far, I understand that there are a lot of younger/less mature (may or may not have to do with age) ppl who play this game so try and take things in stride even though they may be annoying. I do think though that people should have a basic concept of math if they want to trade; I just had this run-in with a numerically challenged player:

Player X: WTB stack of (material) 5k
Me: (I'm selling stack of (material) check trader and could sell back for 1.25k more than Player X is offering) "Just a heads up, you may have a hard time getting (material) for 5k because trader is buying for more than that."
Player X: "LOL, 750g at trader"
Me:?!?!? "I'm saying if I am selling I could make more by selling it back to the trader, you may have a hard time getting for that."
Player X: "So did you sell (material) or not?
Player X: "6k is mi (actual spelling) final offer."
Me: "No, I could still get more selling back to trader."
Player X: "Fine go sell to trader NOOB"
Me: Bangs head on keyboard in disbelief, logs out, goes and finds intelligent person to talk to.

I hate people in PUGs who, when I ask noobs to run a real build I show them, say, "Come on, let's just run whatever we want and have fun."

Sorry, but my idea of fun is a maximum-efficiency team build that defeats all challenges as we steamroll our way to victory, not the epic frustration of dealing with the FDS+Mending Wammo's 10th overextension.

this does sound kind of mean, but I must agree.
especially in harder areas, people shouldn't be experimenting with builds if the rest of the team doesn't agree with it, or its just a bad version of a good build.

This is a very funny thread - but mostly true. I can understand the frustration average players have to go through to keep up with those on either side.

Now here's something that happened to me yesterday. I was playing with my monk (and I have 10 heroes or so) but I wanted to PUG Abaddon's Mouth mission in NM in Tyria. So, I joined this group in which were 2 warriors among others.

They ask me to go heal and then ask me to ping.

I ping...

...5 seconds later one of the warriors tells me to bring 'Healing Breeze'.

..I bring Healing Breeze. He is overjoyed.

The game starts and we actually do pretty good (thanks to 2 good eles). The warrior who asked me to bring 'Healing Breeze' was using 'Healing Breeze' himself!! I was like, 'wth' - O.o. Apparently to please him, I would announce cast healing breeze on him - and boy, you should have seen his enthusiasm in following that up with his own Healing Breeze followed by a direct stupid aggro.

The second warrior was more reasonable and knew what was going on.

We finish the mission albeit with no leavers.

When the cinematic begins, 2 of 8 want to skip, rest view it. (I skipped it). During the cinematic, the Vizer Khelborn (sp.) turns into a Lich.

The warrior - who asked me to bring Healing Breeze - says:

"I didn't expect that. OMG!!!! No......"

I was thinking to myself, "There must be a lot of people like him in GW". I don't necessary hate them because they actually give my monk really good exercise, but it's annoying though when they think they are always right.
